ADB report: exports intensified the Asian economy in 2017

Growing domestic consumption and export growth in a number of countries in the Central Asian region have intensified economic processes, the Asian Development Bank reported in a report for 2017. ADB revised and improved the forecasts for economic development in Central Asia, raising the growth to 3.2% in 2017 and 3.8% in 2018. According to ADB, in developing countries of Asia the economy will grow by 5.9% this year, exceeding last year's level by 0.2%. Good export performance gives grounds to hope for continued growth for Asian countries in 2017. In East Asia, the estimate is increased to 6%. China's GDP is expected to be 6.7%. The economy of India will grow by 7.4%. In Turkmenistan, GDP growth in the first half of 2017 is 6.4%. According to the results of the year, the IMF experts forecast a figure of 6.5%. Export of Turkmenistan for the first five months exceeded the result for the same period of last year by 1.3%.
