Creative competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan announced
A competition of creative works for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Turkmenin Altyn Asyry" has been announced. The decision to this effect was signed by the head of state at a government meeting on Thursday, the evening news release of the national information service reported.
According to the document, foreign authors and cultural figures can also take part in the competition. The annual competition "Altyn Asyry" is held among representatives of classical creative and modern creative professions in various nominations, both in the collective and in the individual "test".
There are also three separate venues in its structure - a television competition for young amateur singers, a dutar-bakhshi competition and a children's competition.
The competition for the presidential prize is designed to stimulate the creation of new works of literature, music, art, theatre, dance and other arts. Folk arts and crafts, journalism, television and cinematography, library and museum work, design and printing – all these areas are also covered by the main creative award of the country.
