CAREC National Coordinators discussed preparations for the 21st Ministerial Conference
The Minister of Finance and Economy, the National Coordinator of the CAREC from Turkmenistan Muhammetgeldi Serdarov participated in an online meeting of the national coordinators of the regional program, at which the documents planned for approval at the 21st CAREC Ministerial Conference were reviewed.
On behalf of the Turkmen side, the meeting was also attended by deputy heads of the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
As it became known, the documents planned for approval at the Ministerial Conference will relate to the promotion of green, sustainable and inclusive post-pandemic recovery, cooperation for the development of agriculture and food security in the CAREC region.
Much attention within the framework of the ministerial meeting will also be paid to research work within the framework of the CAREC program aimed at supporting regional actions to combat climate change.
