The US Embassy reminded about the opportunity to apply for a student exchange program
Until December 15, students from Turkmenistan can apply for participation in the international student exchange program Global UGRAD 2023-2024, the US Embassy in Turkmenistan reminded via an electronic newsletter.
Global UGRAD is a program of the Department of Educational and Cultural Programs of the U.S. Department of State. It allows university students to study for free at one of the US universities for 1-2 academic semesters.
The first-year students participating in the program will be able to live in host families or dormitories and study at two-year colleges. All other students will live in dormitories and study at four-year colleges and universities.
Participants of the exchange program will have ample opportunities for professional growth, will study full-time during the entire academic program and will undergo a professional internship. 20 hours or more will be devoted to socially useful work in the host city on the territory of the United States.
