Turkmenhimiya State Concern plans to build a methanol production facility in conjunction with the Ahal plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas, Deputy Prime Minister Charymurat Purchekov, who oversees the industry, said at the meeting of the Cabinet if Ministers on Friday, TDH reports.

The enterprise will be built due to the need for methanol in the production of carbamide-formaldehyde concentrate, which affects the preservation of the quality and structure of fertilizers produced in the country and exported abroad. Methanol is designed to preserve their high quality during long-distance transportation.
