Another action for the destruction of narcotic drugs and counterfeit tobacco products was held in Turkmenistan on Saturday. Drugs and cigarettes confiscated from illegal circulation during special operations by law enforcement and military agencies were burned in special ovens on the territory of the Geoktepe region.

The action was attended by the leaders of the national parliament, members of the government, the State Security Council, representatives of public organizations, healthcare, media, elders, the website "Turkmenistan today" reports.

Participants of the action were shown narcotic substances and tobacco products packed in bags and labeled parcels. After that, anyone who wished could personally send them to the furnace.
