Turkmenistan will continue to deepen cooperation with the Turkic states
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov outlined the prospects for cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States, with which Turkmenistan is ready to coordinate efforts in such strategic areas as energy, transport and communication sector and trade.
The head of state stated this during a meeting with the newly elected Secretary General of OTS Kurbanychbek Omuraliev, TDH reports.
One of the integral parts of cooperation was called the humanitarian field, in which the implementation of relevant programs and projects in the field of education, science and culture will serve to successfully promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
Following the talks, the sides noted that the cooperation between Turkmenistan and OTS will continue to develop successfully for the common benefit of fraternal peoples.
