The President of Turkmenistan made appointments in the diplomatic sphere

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belgium (Brussels) Sapar Palvanov as the head of the representation of Turkmenistan to the European Union, as well as the permanent representative of the country to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands.

By decrees of the head of state, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria (Vienna) Hemra Amannazarov was simultaneously appointed as an Ambassador to Hungary and the Slovak Republic.
