Two new vocational schools to open in Akhal region
Two more new vocational schools in the Akhal region - the Sachly Dursunova Medical Secondary Professional School and the Berdymukhamet Annayev Secondary Professional School, will open their doors to applicants. Relevant documents on the creation of these educational institutions in the region were signed on Friday by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the official Turkmen press reported.
The head of state instructed the Ministry of Education to prepare and, in accordance with the established procedure, approve the Charter of educational institutions that will start accepting students from the 2023-2024 academic year and will add to the list of educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
Vocational schools, as you know, are a "forge" of personnel, where average personnel are trained. For example, today the country has several educational institutions in the field of medicine, located in regions where future health workers are trained.
Pedagogical schools are also very popular among young people, graduates of which are specialists for kindergartens, preschool child care institutions and elementary grades of general education schools. At present, there are 3 pedagogical schools in the country - in Ashgabat, Mary and Dashoguz regions.
