Turkmen students got acquainted with Russian methods of teaching foreign languages
Students and teachers of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly listened to an online lecture on the topic "The latest technologies in teaching foreign languages", which was delivered by Svetlana Titova, a lecturer from Lomonosov Moscow State University. The Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes about this today.
The lecture was attended by teachers and students of three faculties of TSU: English language and literature, Romano-Germanic and Oriental languages, and modern technologies. At the lecture, Titova spoke about professional retraining programs, the stages of digitalization of language education, as well as how to successfully integrate digital technologies into educational processes.
The lecture was organized within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement made between the two universities of Turkmenistan and Russia.
Svetlana Titova is an honorary lecturer and Deputy Dean for Additional Education of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Regional Studies, as well as Head of the Department of Theory of Teaching Foreign Languages, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Honored Professor of Moscow State University. In addition, she is the head of international projects, distance learning programs and the MSU research School "Interactive Technologies in Teaching Foreign Languages".
