Turkmenistan Airlines will resume direct passenger flights to Bangkok (Thailand), Minsk (Belarus), Delhi (India), Almaty (Kazakhstan), St. Petersburg (Russia), Ankara (Turkey), Paris (France), Seoul (Republic of Korea) and Tokyo (Japan) in March-April this year.

ORIENT was informed about this by the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

In addition, due to the replenishment of the cargo fleet, Turkmenistan will establish regular cargo flights with Hanoi (Vietnam), Seoul (Republic of Korea) and Shenzhen (China).

The resumption of regular flights to international destinations is primarily due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the world.

Earlier, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the government to bring the regularity of international flights to the level that was before the coronavirus pandemic.
