Kazakhstani companies ready to expand transformers export to Turkmenistan
The leading enterprises of Kazakhstan for the production of transformers and oil and gas equipment desire to establish and expand the existing export supplies to Turkmenistan.
This issue has been raised in the framework of the international exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2017" in Ashgabat.
The pavilion of Kazakhstan is represented at the main fuel and energy show by such business entities as Aktyubinsk Oil Equipment Plant, Alageum Electric, KEMONT, KazCentrElectroprovod, KRS Oil and Gas.
"For us, Turkmenistan is one of the most attractive markets in Central Asia due to the lack of domestic producers of transformer equipment," told Eldar Bekmuratov, Alageum Electric's export manager, to KazInform news agency.
According to Bekmuratov, in late October, the first batch of products has already been shipped to Turkmenistan after a three-year break. However, the company intends to use the exhibition to bring the annual volume of supplies to US $ 1 million.
Alageum Electric, the largest electrotechnical company in Kazakhstan, includes more than 30 large enterprises and plants specializing in such areas as power engineering, electrical machinery building and construction. One of such enterprises is the Kentau Transformer Plant, which’s production range has more than 23 types of transformers. Since 2012, Alageum Electric has been producing energy-saving transformers.
For the Q1 2017, Kazakhstan produced about 7,000 units of electrical transformers, that is 357% up compared to the same period of 2016.
