The concert for the Day of Russia will be held in Ashgabat
On June 11, a festive concert dedicated to the Day of Russia will be held at the Moscow Musical and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly. Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo, told the ORIENT correspondent about this.
The State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Rasul Klychev and the pupils of the Joint Turkmen-Russian School will present famous compositions from Soviet films, as well as works of Russian classical music.
The concert, organized by the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan and the Russian House in Ashgabat, will be held with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
Russia Day is a state holiday of the Russian Federation, celebrated annually on June 12.
The concert starts at 18:00. Admission is free.
