The Youth Organization of Turkmenistan has become a member of the Global Youth Community


The Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly has become an official member of the UNESCO Global Youth Community (GYC). This was announced in the message by Angela Melo, Director of Policy and Programs of the Social and Humanitarian Sciences Sector of the UNESCO Secretariat.
GYC is a global platform created and managed by youth for the purpose of interaction between UNESCO youth initiatives and related projects. The Community encourages and ensures the deep involvement of young people in active cooperation with UNESCO, acts as an autonomous educational space for young people and youth organizations seeking to jointly study, develop and implement projects related to UNESCO activities.
The accession of the YOT to the Global Youth Community will contribute to the expansion of dialogue, exchange of experience and knowledge, mutual learning and cooperation between young people, UNESCO and its member States, as well as with other interested parties.
