The head of the Halk Maslahaty assessed the activities of the sanatorium "Archman" and plans for its reconstruction
The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Archman sanatorium in the Baherden district of the Ahal region on Saturday, where he got acquainted with the activities of this institution and plans for its reconstruction, after which he held a meeting with a number of leaders. In the sanatorium, the head of the Halk Maslahaty visited the source of mineral water, which is part of the healing resources of the health resort and gave instructions to the accompanying leaders to use the vast potential of this resort town.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proceeded to the hydrotherapy clinic, where he talked with people vacationing here, asked about their well-being and opinions about the conditions in the sanatorium.
The national leader of the Turkmen people visited the department where medical procedures are carried out using local mineral water, and got acquainted with the state of its equipment, the list of medical services provided. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the responsible persons to ensure that the complex of equipment and devices of the department meets the most modern requirements.
Further, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty was presented with projects for the reconstruction of the buildings of the sanatorium "Archman" and the construction of new facilities, which were reported by Deputy Prime Minister Nurmuhammed Amannepesov.
It is noted that with the construction of a new building, the number of places in the sanatorium will increase to 1 thousand 320. In addition, it is planned to modernize the infrastructure of the health resort, its engineering and technical systems, etc.
After reviewing the projects, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of adjustments to them, focusing on the need to maintain the ecological well-being of the area, further scientific study of the properties of mineral water and expanding the possibilities of the sanatorium.
Then the national leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting with the participation of a number of government members, heads of the healthcare sector and other departments.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that he arrived on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to get acquainted with the state of the health resort and plans for its development in the context of improving the entire sanatorium-resort system of the country, modernization of the material and technical base of this industry.
The modern network of sanatoriums created in the country, including "Archman", "Yyly suv", "Bayramali", "Farab", "Mollagara", "Berzengi", "Dashoguz", "Avaza" and "Bagabat", plays an important role in preserving and restoring the health of citizens. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who at one time was the Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, developed the State program "Health", in which much attention is paid to the modernization of resorts. The work carried out within the framework of the Program has yielded good results. Turkmen citizens have the opportunity to relax and improve their health in sanatoriums in different regions of the country.
The meeting was attended by doctors and employees of the sanatorium "Archman", as well as a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, who expressed the interest of his economic society in participating in the construction of a new building of the sanatorium and the reconstruction of its other facilities.
The head of Hal Maslahaty formulated the main requirements and tasks that stand in this area, emphasizing the need to use best practices and close attention to environmental issues, taking into account the natural features of the area and careful attitude to the healing spring Archman.
At the end of the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov flew by helicopter towards the capital, inspecting the progress of work on the territory of the Ahal region, including the renewal of the appearance of villages and settlements, and also made a circle over the city of Arkadag.
At the second stage, it is planned to erect medical facilities, light industry enterprises, and a complex for the production of food products. All this will contribute to the creation of new jobs, strengthen the potential of the national economy and increase the export opportunities of the country.
