A meeting of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of French business circles took place in Paris
In Paris, the official delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks with representatives of French business circles. A business meeting with French companies that are part of the International Association of France "MEDEF-International" was held on Monday, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation familiarized the representatives of the French business circles with the key areas of the economy of Turkmenistan and spoke about the investment potential of the country. The parties identified oil and gas and gas chemical industries, electric power industry, transport and communications, medical industry and pharmaceuticals, financial and banking sector and water management complex as priority areas of Turkmen-French cooperation. There are also great opportunities for bilateral business partnership in the areas of trade, economy, energy and agriculture, the meeting noted.
On the same day, Rashid Meredov held a series of bilateral negotiations with representatives of the French business community. The Turkmen minister met with Gilles Remy, honorary president of the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce, president of CIFAL International Services.
He also discussed issues of further partnership with honorary president of CARPI Tech, Alberto Maria Squero, and director general of this company, Francois Tronel. Business meetings were also held with presidents of the Bouygues Group and the Vinci Construction Grand Proge, Martin Bouygues and Patrick Kadri, respectively.
During the visit to Paris, members of the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral negotiations with leaders and representatives of various government agencies. The visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to France continues.
