The Day of Turkmenistan was held in Ankara as part of the Anatolian Festival


Turkmenistan Day was held in Ankara as part of the 25th International Anatolian Festival of Culture and Art of the Turkic Peoples, which takes place in the Turkish capital from September 1 to 10. According to the draw held by the organizing committee of the event among diplomatic missions in Ankara, the 5th festival day was declared Turkmenistan Day, the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Turkey reports.
More than 20 thousand spectators gathered for the Turkmen holiday, which "told" the residents and guests of the city about the culture, music, folk-applied and modern art of the Turkmen people. An exhibition with the works of masters of national decorative art, as well as art works and handicrafts was opened in the pavilion of Turkmenistan. The visitors were very interested in the beautiful carpets and handmade carpets.
Literary works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were also presented at the exposition.
Visitors of the Turkmen yurt were treated to delicious traditional dishes of national cuisine. On the big stage, pop singer Begench Orayev gathered music lovers and music lovers for his performance. The cultural program presented on the Day of Turkmenistan was broadcast live on the Turkish TV channel Etimesğut.
