The resumption of the Ashgabat-Paris passenger flight is expected in the coming months

Turkmenistan is working on the technical details of the resumption of passenger air transportation between Ashgabat and Paris in the coming months. This news was shared by Deputy Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev, speaking at a business meeting with French companies.
The Ashgabat-Paris flight, which operated from 2013 to 2018, was one of the most optimal communications between the two countries, he recalled.
Continuing the topic of Turkmen-French cooperation in the aerospace sector, Annayev also noted that the two Airbus A330-200P2F cargo planes purchased this year have significantly increased the production capacity of the national air carrier.
And thanks to cooperation with the French company Thales Alenia Space, Turkmenistan has entered the list of countries with their own communications satellite. The national satellite allows providing high-speed and reliable communication throughout our country, as well as providing communication services to other countries in the region.
The established cooperation with Airbus DS GEO SA has enabled Turkmenistan to obtain images of the Earth for use in various fields, such as agriculture, ecology, urban planning and others.
