President of Turkmenistan appoints new Prosecutor of Mary region

Lawyer of the 1st class Meylis Atayev, who previously held the position of prosecutor of the Kunya Urgench district of the Dashoguz region, was appointed prosecutor of the Mary region on Wednesday.

The corresponding decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the State Security Council.

Also, in accordance with article 16 of the law "On the Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan", the head of state signed a decree on the appointment and dismissal of prosecutors and deputy prosecutors in the city of Arkadag, Bayramali and various regional and urban areas.
