For the first time, a Climate forum for businessmen and philanthropists will be held within the framework of COP28
Simultaneously with the Global Climate Summit (COP28), a Climate Forum for businessmen and philanthropists will be held on December 1-2.
The forum will bring together over 500 representatives of business and philanthropists under the motto "Synergy of business and philanthropy: A new paradigm of action in the field of climate and nature." Their experience and resources will be used to implement effective solutions in the field of climate change and nature protection, creating opportunities for "green growth".
The event will be chaired by the COP28 Special Representative for Business and Charity, Badr Jafar, who is a member of the COP28 Advisory Committee.
"We strive to unite the efforts of key stakeholders to develop collective solutions. That is why I will hold a Climate Forum for businessmen and philanthropists, which will show concrete results of the work of the private sector and philanthropists," said the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the UAE and President of COP28, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, noting the need to reform the financing of the fight against climate change.
