The high birth rate in the country can be associated with various factors, among which decent socio-economic conditions play an important role.

It would be useful to add to this statistics that for every resident of Uzbekistan, according to the statistics agency for 01.01.2023, there is an average of 18.5 square meters. m of total living space (which is 0.3 sq. m more than last year). If this trend continues, by the time the current newborns reach adulthood, each of them will have real mansions. At least by square footage.

A delegation of heads of industrial associations of Uzbekistan visited South Korea. The main purpose of the working visit is to expand economic cooperation between the two countries. A meeting was held with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Han Dak Su, as well as between the foreign ministries of the two countries. The United States, through its Agency for International Development (USAID), has signed a new memorandum of understanding with the Government of Uzbekistan to expand access to safe and high-quality medicines in this country. Within the framework of its activities, USAID closely cooperates with stakeholders and partners of Uzbekistan in order to improve access to essential medicines and medical products of guaranteed quality for citizens of this country.

The delegation of Uzbekistan will take part in the 45th expanded session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh. During the session, the Committee will review the implementation of the 1972 UNESCO Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage in Member States.

Currently, 195 countries are States parties to the UNESCO Convention of 1972. To date, 1,157 cultural and natural sites from 167 States are included in the World Heritage List in accordance with the 1972 Convention. Among them, 43 are transboundary objects of 67 participating States.
