TAPI and TAP will open new areas of regional cooperation – Ambassador

The 1,830 km long gas pipeline has a design capacity of 33 billion cubic meters of gas per year, and TAP will help meet Pakistan's electricity needs, the ambassador noted. He also added that Turkmenistan has already started supplying LNG to Pakistan by road and 50 tankers have been delivered at the moment.

Khurram Tariq highly appreciated the cooperation with Turkmenistan in the energy sector and said that both countries should also focus on bilateral trade. He stressed the need to establish direct ties between the business communities of the two countries, the message says.

Faisalabad is a city and the administrative center of the district of the same name, located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The third largest city in Pakistan after Karachi and Lahore.
