The Turkmen pavilion attracted attention at the book Festival in Astana


The International Book Festival Kitaptime was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, which brought together publishers, writers and readers from different countries. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Astana took part in the festival, which presented bright novelties about Turkmen culture and achievements.
In the Turkmen pavilion, located in the National Academic Library, festival visitors were able to get acquainted with books dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, as well as folk traditions and the history of the country. Turkmen national costumes, carpets, embroidery by Turkmen craftsmen were also presented at the stands.

The guests of the pavilion were welcomed by 5th-year students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, who are currently interning at the Embassy. They acted as guides, introducing visitors to the exposition of the Turkmen pavilion and answering questions of interest.
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Astana actively participates in various cultural events aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. The Kitaptime Book Festival has become another example of dynamically developing relations between the two countries.
