The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces and conscription


President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel undergoing conscription service, and the next conscription of the country's citizens for military service.
Transfer to the reserve and conscription into military service is prescribed to take place in October-December of this year. Male citizens of Turkmenistan who are 18 years old by the day of conscription and those who have lost the right to a deferment from conscription for military service under 27 years of age are subject to conscription.
The decree, which comes into force from the moment of its publication, was published in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, also signed a decree according to which the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of National Security, the Head of the State Border Service, the Head of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, and the Chairman of the State Migration Service are ordered to ceremoniously dismiss military personnel who have served the appropriate terms, and to encourage excellent students in combat and social and humanitarian training.
