The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the UN Children's Fund will hold a Festival of robots
On September 23-24, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, together with the UN Children's Fund, will organize a competition on educational robotics among Turkmen schoolchildren.
Within the framework of the event, which will be held at school No. 97 in the Buzmeyin district of Ashgabat, students will present their developments and scientific projects.
The competition provides six categories:
• Robot Race - robot races; • "Manual Sumo" – a competition where robots try to push the opponent robot outside the circle in manual control mode; • "Auto Sumo" is a competition where robots try to push the opponent robot outside the circle in autonomous control mode; • "Mars Rover" - robot races with obstacles; • "Line Follower" - a robot competition in which they follow a black line on a white background; • Research projects in STEM subjects
The winners will be awarded certificates and memorable gifts.
The development of educational robotics is provided for by the Concept of the Development of the Digital Educational System in Turkmenistan and the Concept of Improving the teaching of subjects in Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan.
