“Yenme” invites you to the theatrical production “The Way Home”
The public organization “Yenme” invites Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital to the theatrical production “The Way Home”. The performance is educational and will tell about the fate of migrant women living abroad.
— The topic is social and very relevant today. Many people, including our compatriots, go abroad for various reasons - to study, in search of a new job, get married, and so on. And this performance will show what “force majeure” situations can occur - labor exploitation, deception and other difficulties that can happen while staying in another country, - Gulya Choreklieva, head of the Yenme public organization, told Orient.
— In collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), we implemented the “Special Look” project, aimed at changing the opinion and behavior of the population about gender stereotypes regarding women in migration. Our audience is young people, as well as adults traveling abroad. We want to make them aware of the migration risks that exist in other countries,” the head of Yenme noted.
The author of the theatrical production is Gulnara Allaberdiyeva, and the roles will be played by amateur actors. The performance will take place on September 23 at 15:00 at the Turkish Cultural Center. Free admission.
