The President of Turkmenistan outlined the main directions of the energy strategy
"The development of the oil and gas industry of our country, which has rich reserves of energy resources, diversification of natural gas supplies to world markets, processing of oil and gas resources for the production of high–quality products meeting international standards, is one of the most important directions of the energy strategy of our independent state," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, speaking at a meeting of the Hulk Maslahaty.
As an example, the head of state cited the construction of installations for delayed coking and de-asphalting of tar in the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, which make it possible for deep waste-free processing of crude oil, TDH writes.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that it is necessary to complete the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, attract foreign investment for the development of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, develop new technologies in the exploration, production and processing of hydrocarbons.
