President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a visit to Turkey. This follows from the telegram of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent to the head of Turkmenistan on the occasion of his birthday. The text of the message was published today by the official Turkmen press.

"I will be very glad to see you during your planned visit to the Republic of Turkey," Erdogan's telegram reads.

The Turkish President also expressed his conviction that cooperation between the two countries, both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, will continue to deepen.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov celebrated his 42nd birthday on September 22. Today, the official Turkmen press also published congratulations addressed to the head of Turkmenistan from the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, as well as Secretary General of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Dmitry Kobitsky.
