The 6th International Exhibition of Imported Goods is being held in China


After a long break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 6th China International Import Expo, one of the largest and most important exhibition events in the world, began its work offline in Shanghai.
About 154 countries from Asia, Africa and Europe take part in the exhibition. 11 of them are presented at the EXPO for the first time. This year the event set a record - its area was increased from 1,500 to 2,500 square meters. Moreover, over 3,400 companies and 394 thousand visitors registered to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo, from global giants like Nestle and LEGO to a Tanzanian seaweed farmer's shop.
In his letter to exhibitors, Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed hope that the annual exhibition will enhance its role as a gateway to a new development model that will contribute to the creation of an open global economy.
The exhibition is divided into several thematic sections, including those dedicated to the automotive and medical industries, consumer goods, agricultural products, and achievements in the field of information technology. The service sector is presented separately, including financial, consulting services, tourism and logistics services.
The 6th China International Import Expo will be open to visitors until November 10th.
