Turkmenistan will take part in the international Caspian Digital Forum


More than 600 people have registered for the international Caspian Digital Forum. The event will take place in Dagestan, in Kaspiysk from November 16 to 18. Its participants will be representatives of IT business and relevant authorities from Iran and regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will connect via video conferencing, Minister of Digital Development of Dagestan Yuri Gamzatov told reporters at a press conference, the network Nur reported.
The forum is being held in a new format to strengthen cooperation between countries and determine the necessary steps for the implementation of the international North-South project.
Representatives of the participating countries will be divided into industry working groups, within which they will exchange the current status of the countries’ readiness to implement the project in terms of the regulatory framework, technological and technical capabilities, material and resource components. IT experts will share successful projects and discuss measures for the development of the industry. The best solutions will be selected at a plenary meeting for further implementation.
In addition to the main topic, working groups will be held in the following areas: transport and logistics, cybersecurity, tourism, and ecology. Representatives of about 40 universities and research centers from Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are planned to participate.
The forum is held with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation and the government of the Republic of Dagestan.
