Auctions at SCRMET: petrochemicals, light industry products and handmade carpets are sold


On Friday, November 17, cotton yarns ($1.87 per kg), Flannel bedding sets ($6.50 per set), Cretonne bedding sets ($7-8) were sold on the foreign market during trading at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan. In the domestic market, kerosene of the KO-20 brand (7,800 manats per ton), bitumen of the BND brand (2,500 manats per ton), polypropylene of the TPP D 382 BF brand (25 thousand manats per ton), cotton harsh yarns (36-37.80 manats per kg) were in great demand), 100% cotton flannel dense fabric (4.75 manats per sq.m.) and handmade Turkmen carpets (1 805,50-3 164,80 manat per sq.m.).
Businessmen from the UAE concluded deals with local enterprises for the purchase of cotton yarn, sets of bed linen "Flannel" and "Cretonne" for a total of $1,823,400 million.
Representatives of business circles from Turkmenistan concluded deals with the State Concern "Turkmennebit" for the purchase of kerosene of the brand "KO-20", bitumen of the brand "BND", polypropylene "TPP D 382 BF" for a total amount of 82,496,000 manats, with the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for the purchase of cotton harsh yarns and flannel 100% cotton dense fabrics for a total of 1,804,187.50 manats and for the purchase of handmade Turkmen carpets for a total of 814,053.24 manats.
During the auction, 63 deals were concluded for a total of 85,114,240.74 manats and $1,823,400.
