The IMF announced the momentum for global economic growth in 2024

Speaking at an event at the economic forum in Davos, the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva said that in 2024 the global economy will receive an impetus for growth.
According to her, this will be possible due to the fact that last year ended better than economists' expectations.
"The global economy has proved remarkably resilient. The year 2023 turned out better than we expected, by a small margin," Georgieva said.
In 2023, the World Bank predicted that the global economy would approach recession. But this did not happen. Most economists have postponed expectations of a slowdown in global GDP to 2024.
The United Nations, in its review of the global economy, also noted that economic growth exceeded expectations in 2023.
