Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan participated in the Meeting of Heads of Committees on International Cooperation of the Parliaments of Turkic-Speaking States
On February 18, 2025, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the Meeting of Heads of Committees on International Cooperation of the Parliaments of Turkic-Speaking States, held in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.
This forum is aimed at supporting friendly cooperation between Turkic-speaking states at the level of parliaments, developing inter-parliamentary relations in the region, as well as disseminating positive experience of active participation of parliamentarians in the socio-economic development of the country.
In their speech at the meeting, representatives of Turkmenistan declared the country's commitment to peaceful diplomacy, economic cooperation, cultural dialogue and ensuring environmental stability, and also noted the priority areas of legislative work of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
