New personnel appointments and dismissals in Turkmenistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, by his decree signed on February 24, dismissed Ovezgeldi Goshjanov from the post of mayor of the city of Balkanabat in the Balkan velayat and assigned the temporary duties of mayor to his deputy, Myrat Nazarov.
As part of the subsequent personnel changes, Ovezgeldi Goshjanov was appointed Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, with the preliminary dismissal of Begench Miminov from this post.
