ASU has become one of the Russian universities whose diplomas are recognized in Turkmenistan

Adyghe State University (ASU) has been added to the list of Russian universities whose diplomas are recognized in Turkmenistan. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has approved a list of educational institutions whose academic credentials are subject to nostrification (the process of validating foreign educational documents). Adyghe State University (ASU) has been added to the list of Russian universities whose diplomas are recognized in Turkmenistan. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has approved a list of educational institutions whose academic credentials are subject to nostrification (the process of validating foreign educational documents). This list includes over 1,500 universities worldwide, among them 45 Russian universities, with Adyghe State University joining for the first time.

ASU has been added to this list for the first time. The university has been actively cooperating with Turkmenistan since 2011. Over 2,000 Turkmen students have graduated from ASU during this time. In 2016, the first officially registered association of Turkmen students was established at ASU, according to adigeatoday.ru, citing the university's press service.

Currently, ASU has approximately 1,600 international students from 43 countries, with over 1,300 being citizens of Turkmenistan.
