Key attention was directed towards the establishment of efficient and sustainable transport corridors, the enhancement of interregional cooperation, and the adaptation of transport infrastructure to contemporary requirements. Participants emphasized the strategic role of the region in global trade routes and deliberated on measures to improve transport efficiency, including the development of multimodal transportation and the harmonization of transport policies.

Additionally, considerations were given to the operational aspects of key international transport corridors, such as Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul (ITI), Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey (KUTIT), Tajikistan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey (TUTIT), Bandar Abbas-Almaty, Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran (KTI), and Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Iran-Turkey (KTAI), which connect Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

2

It is noteworthy that Turkmenistan acceded to the TRACECA agreement in November 2023, which has opened new avenues for expanding its involvement in international transport projects and developing the country's transit potential.
