Bangladesh leader is invited to international forum in Ashgabat
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Islamabad Atajan Movlamov met with Bangladesh Ambassador to Pakistan Iqbal Hussain Khan on Friday, February 28.
The Turkmen diplomat handed over to his Bangladeshi counterpart an official invitation letter on behalf of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mohammed Shahbuddin to participate in the International Forum of Peace and Trust dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. The significant date will be celebrated on December 12.
The parties discussed ways to expand and strengthen mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Bangladesh. Interest was expressed in developing cooperation both bilaterally and within the framework of regional and international structures.
