Turkmen jewelry attracted the attention of participants at an exhibition in Tajikistan
In the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, the city of Dushanbe, the International Jewelry Forum and Exhibition "At the Origins of the Oxus Treasure" opened on March 24th. The event, organized by the Government of Tajikistan, aims to popularize the traditions of jewelry art, promote it on the international stage, and preserve it as intangible cultural heritage.
The Turkmen delegation, represented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, participated in the forum. 1 At the exhibition held within the framework of the forum, a unique collection of national jewelry was presented, demonstrating the rich traditions and unsurpassed craftsmanship of Turkmen artisans.
The forum brought together approximately 50 Tajik jewelry enterprises, individual masters, and designers, as well as over 200 foreign participants, including representatives from Central Asian countries and other regions, including Turkmenistan.
The International Jewelry Forum "At the Origins of the Oxus Treasure" served as a significant platform for the exchange of experience, the strengthening of cooperation, and the development of the jewelry industry in the region.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation contributed to the further deepening of mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, as well as the expansion of opportunities for the promotion of national jewelry art at the international level.
