A cultural forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust was held in Tokyo
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tokyo, in conjunction with the Japan Council for Friendly Exchange, organized a cultural forum on April 4th dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust.
In his address, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, Atadurdy Bayramov, emphasized the consistent implementation of the country's foreign policy, which is based on the principles of positive neutrality and broad support from the international community. He noted that Turkmenistan actively contributes to the strengthening of constructive international cooperation in the name of universal well-being and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, as evidenced by the country's initiatives within the framework of the UN and other authoritative organizations, including the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Government of Japan for its support and contribution to the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
The forum participants also had the opportunity to become acquainted with the rich cultural traditions of Turkmenistan.
