A new mobile application for tourists will be launched in Almaty
A new mobile application for tourists, which will be named SuperApp, will be launched in Almaty. This application is being developed by the city akimat (administration) in collaboration with the company "Onay".
The primary objective of SuperApp is to consolidate all key tourist services into a unified digital ecosystem, which will significantly simplify access for both local residents and tourists. Users will be able to not only plan their routes and explore attractions but also purchase tickets for cultural and sporting events, and book excursions and tours around Almaty. VR-guided tours of well-known city locations are also planned.
According to the Akim of Almaty, Yerbolat Dosayev, 113 cultural and sporting venues will be integrated into the application by July 1, 2025.
This application will be an important step in the development of the city's tourism infrastructure and in attracting a greater number of tourists.
