The United Kingdom Has Increased Investments in Turkmenistan’s Economy

The total volume of trade in goods and services between the United Kingdom and Turkmenistan (exports and imports) from July 2024 to June 2025 amounted to 102 million pounds sterling. This represents an increase of 32.5% compared to the previous period, with growth totaling 25 million pounds.

According to data from the UK Government:

Exports from the United Kingdom to Turkmenistan reached 86 million pounds, which is 59.3% (or 32 million pounds) higher than the year before.

Imports from Turkmenistan to the United Kingdom amounted to 16 million pounds.

Regarding investments, as of the end of 2023:

The volume of direct foreign investments from the United Kingdom in Turkmenistan amounted to 26 million pounds, which is 4% (or 1 million pounds) more compared to the end of 2022.

The growth in trade turnover reflects the efforts of both countries to strengthen economic cooperation, diversify export directions, and stimulate business activity.
