President Battulga: Mongolia will study the experience of rapid growth of Turkmenistan
Mongolia is interested in studying the experience of Turkmenistan in the field of efficient use of raw materials and rapid economic growth. This was said by the President of Mongolia, Hultmaagiin Battulga, during a meeting with the Turkmen Ambassador Chinar Rustamova.
The head of Mongolia said he was ready to intensify bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan, saying that large-scale investment projects worth $ 134 billion were planned for implementation in his country.
As one of the largest suppliers of blue fuel in Asia, Turkmenistan can export natural gas to Mongolia by transit through China. This country is also rich in deposits of minerals, including iron ore, phosphorus, tungsten and gold. Mongolia's traditional export items include cashmere, leather goods and meat.
The head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in China and Mongolia handed H. Battulge an invitation to the opening ceremony of the Asian Games in Ashgabat, which will be held on September 17 on behalf of the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In the Games, which will be attended by athletes from 64 countries and the refugee team, Mongolia will be represented by 183 athletes - as much as in the Chinese team.
Haltmaagiin Battulga himself in his youth was engaged in judo and sambo, and was the world champion in sambo in 1989.
