The airline Turkish Airlines has announced the opening of a new destination — flights to Monrovia. Starting from May 11, 2026, flights will operate on the route Istanbul – Accra – Monrovia (Liberia) – Accra – Istanbul. The frequency will be twice a week — on Mondays and Saturdays.

According to the schedule, flight TK627 will depart from Istanbul at 06:35 and arrive in Accra at 10:55, then depart at 12:20 and arrive in Monrovia at 14:15. The return flight TK628 departs from Monrovia at 15:10, arrives in Accra at 17:10, then departs at 18:35 and arrives in Istanbul at 04:50 the next day.

The launch of the new route expands the airline’s network in West Africa and strengthens transport connections between the region and international destinations.
