The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan has held negotiations with representatives of major Chinese companies specializing in technology and telecommunications. The meetings were attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Annayev and Minister of Communications Hajymyrat Hudaygulyyev.

The main focus was on the prospects for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the field of high technology. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects, including the creation of research centers in artificial intelligence, the deployment of Internet of Things solutions, and the development of "smart cities." Areas related to neural networks and quantum technologies were also touched upon.

Hajymyrat Hudaygulyyev noted that the development of artificial intelligence is considered a strategic priority in the country. According to him, such technologies play an important role in improving public administration, as well as in the development of medicine, education, and other sectors.

The negotiations were attended by representatives of Huawei, ZTE, Shanghai DTSpace Futech Auto Tech, Xinjiang Poplar Cable Manufacturing, and China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation.
