Turkmen investments can flow to Pakistani economy


“Businessmen and traders of Turkmenistan have opportunities for investment in Pakistan”, said Pakistani minister for commerce and textile Mohammad Pervaiz Malik.
The prospects for investment cooperation with Ashgabat was discussed during a meeting with the ambassador of Turkmenistan to Islamabad Movladov Atajan.
The minister suggested that the Turkmen side could consider easing visa process for Pakistani businessmen as a measure for enhancing cooperation.
Both side agreed that the possible exchange of business delegations will benefit further development of bilateral trade.
In turn, the Turkmen envoy voiced an invitation to the business circles of Pakistan to hold a business exhibition in Turkmenistan.
Recall that the recent bilateral political consultations in Islamabad had identified the key areas for future cooperation such as agriculture, livestock, textile, information technology, transport and tourism.
