On February 24, regional competitions in mixed martial arts and MMA were held in the city of Kharkov, Ukraine. The first place at the championship among athletes from 19 to 40 years old in the 93 kg weight category was won by a student of the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, a citizen of Turkmenistan, Babageldi Khalimov.
