At the World Championships 2017 in American Anaheim, the weightlifter also won a bronze award (at that time in the 69 kg weight category). The champion of the USA is the author of national records in snatch, push and the sum of biathlon.
Before joining weightlifting, Rogers spent 12 years in gymnastics. Interestingly, it is not the only one in the American national team who not so long ago “retrained” and successfully replaced the gymnastic platform by a weightlifting one.
