Turkmen content featured on international media platform Silk Way

Within the framework of the international media project Silk Way Central Asia, efforts to adapt content for the Turkmen audience are being intensified. Future plans include expanding content exchange and developing a partnership with Turkmenistan's national television company.

According to the organizers, the project aims to foster a unified information space in Central Asia and promote the interests of the region's countries on a global scale. The Silk Way television channel broadcasts in six languages—Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Russian, English, Uzbek, and Turkish—and also adapts materials for viewers in Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Its broadcasting reach extends to 120 countries, with a potential audience exceeding 300 million people.

The channel already features programs such as "New Time," an English-language review of key Central Asian events, and the series "Success Stories of Central Asian Women," dedicated to the achievements of women in the region.

Information regarding the project was presented during the official visit of Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, to Kazakhstan. In Astana, he visited the office of the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he familiarized himself with the media structure's operations, toured the studios of the Jibek Joly TV channel, and discussed prospects for regional media cooperation.
