Iran's non-oil exports to Turkmenistan see significant increase
16.08.2025 | 13:30 |Iran's non-oil exports to Turkmenistan have grown substantially over the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 to July 22, 2025). The value of these exports increased by 29.4%, while the volume rose by 17.1% compared to the same period last year (March 20 to July 21, 2024).
Key figures and products
According to Trend, Iran exported approximately 519,000 tons of non-oil goods to Turkmenistan, valued at nearly $194 million. This is a notable increase from the previous year's figures of about 443,000 tons, valued at almost $150 million.
The export portfolio was diverse, including a wide range of goods such as:
Agricultural and food products
Industrial goods
Electrical transformers
Water treatment systems
Petrochemical products, and various other categories.
Overall trade performance
The total non-oil trade between Iran and Turkmenistan during this four-month period reached $196 million and 521,000 tons. This represents a 26% increase in value and a 16.4% increase in volume compared to the same period in the previous year.
