Oriented on making people closer

The XXVI Conference of the World Turkmens Humanitarian Association is opening in Ashgabat, bringing together representatives of the Turkmen diaspora and public organizations from different countries. The forum is being held during the International Year of Peace and Trust and is timed to the national holiday - Independence Day of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of the conference for strengthening unity, fraternal ties and popularizing the humanistic values of the Turkmen people in the world. The head of state noted that independence and permanent neutrality have become the basis of the country's modern development and important guidelines on the path of progress.

The message also emphasized that thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty and President of the Association Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan has established itself as a country of peace, friendship and sustainable development.

The President expressed confidence that the conference would become another opportunity to strengthen international contacts, expand humanitarian cooperation and increase the authority of the Fatherland on the world stage.
